I love creative collaborations. With clients, other therapists, artists, galleries, organisations. I’m interested in and motivated by deconstructing the divides between ‘high’ and ‘low’ art in order to increase participation in the arts for those who it has felt inaccessible.

Some of my favourite previous collaborations

Naked Among Thistles.
Alongside the wonderful Linden Katherine McMahon we worked with a series of established writers and performers to run a programme of workshops to support the 2014 production of Naked Among Thistles, an anthology of writing about LGBT+ identities and mental wellbeing which we co-edited, made possible with funding from See Me.

Under the Skin. Interdisciplinary Dance Movement Psychotherapy & Art Psychotherapy opportunities.
I have been fortunate to have an ongoing collaborative relationship with dance artist and dance movement psychotherapist Thania Acaron. In our chapter in Gender and Difference in The Arts Therapies (Ed. Hogan 2019) we managed to capture a case study of one such workshop we delivered together as part of a mental health arts festival.

Your Manifesto
In 2021 in association with Manchester International Festival, Curious Minds SLiCE programme and Bolton School, as a freelance creative producer in the design and delivery of an eight-week Saturday morning programme to deepen young people’s creative engagement with their neighbourhoods and to develop awareness of skills and practices within the arts sector.
